Our Dentists
Dr. KHADIJA SULEMANJEE
Dr. Sulemanjee is a recent addition to Southland Smiles, bringing with her several years of experience in the dental field.
Her love for dentistry comes from her desire to help her patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles while improving their overall oral health.
She has a passion for interacting with people and enjoys learning about their unique stories, which she uses to provide the most personalized care possible.
Dr. Sulemanjee earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2019.
She is a member of professional organizations including the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Academy of Clear Aligners (AACA).
In addition to her formal education and professional affiliations, Dr. Sulemanjee is committed to continuing her education.
She has attended CE courses on Dental Implants, Invisalign and Oral Conscious Sedation.

When she is not practicing Dentistry, Dr. Sulemanjee enjoys spending time with her family.
She is a wife and mother of two children. She loves trying new foods and exploring different cultures while traveling.
Dr. Sulemanjee is also an avid reader and has a creative side, which she expresses through painting and sketching as a hobby.
Dr. Juana Ryckowski
We are excited to add Dr. Juana Ryckowski to our team of Dentists.
She started in the dental field over 10 years ago as a Dental Assistant. Her passion for Dentistry and caring for others inspired her to become a Dentist.
Dr. Ryckowski graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2020.
She is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish. She wants to ensure the Hispanic community gets the dental care they need without any language barriers.
Dr. Ryckowski is Invisalign certified and is very skilled in all aspects of General Dentistry.
She loves Cosmetic Dentistry and helping patients achieve the smile they always dreamed of.
She places an emphasis on providing tailored Dentistry by listening to each patient, answering their questions, and helping them make informed decisions on their treatment options.

When not working, she and her family love being outdoors, biking and camping.
Dr. Moses Rasberry
Dr. Moses Rasberry graduated from the illustrious University of Illinois at Chicago, where he received his doctorate in dentistry.
Dr. Rasberry possesses a desire to help contribute to communities who lack resources for dental care.
For his internship prior to graduating, he provided dental care to Native Americans in rural Minnesota.
Dr. Rasberry is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, National Student Dental Association, American Dental Education Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
When he is not at work you might find him biking along the lakefront with his French Bulldog along for the ride.
Our Hygiene Team
Lynn β RDH
Lynn has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 35 years. She is a graduate of Prairie State College. Clinical dental hygiene is a passion of hers and improving patient health drives her. Lynn had the pleasure of working with Dr. Mantoan for 11 years at the start of her career and has come full circle as she rejoins the team. She enjoys spending free time with her husband and two grown children. She also enjoys Interior design, hiking and baking.

Kylie β RDH
Kylie is a graduate of Indiana University Northwest, receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and also The βHu-Freidy Golden Scaler Awardβ in 2021. She was also her 2019-2021 Class Representative. Kylieβs passion for dental hygiene began when she worked at a hospital and noticed a neglect of oral hygiene. She realized health begins in the mouth and that she wanted to educate patients on the relationship between oral health and overall health. Kylie has a very outgoing personality which helps put her patients at ease when they come in for a visit. In her free time, she enjoys spending time at the gym or with friends.

Kim β Human Resources Manager
Kimberly started working for her family dentist at the front desk and has grown to love helping patients so much that she has been in the dental field for 20+ years. She joined the Southland Smiles team in November of 2016 as part of our Insurance Department. She is now part of the Management Team, overseeing Human Resources and Marketing. She enjoys reading, traveling, crafting, enjoying life with family & friends and spoiling her two Papillion dogs Peanut & Parker.

Maria β Office Manager
Maria became part of the Southland Smiles in July of 2015 but has been in the dental field for over 30+ years. As the Office Manager, she oversees the day-to-day operations of the practice and ensures patients have a wonderful experience when they visit our office. Maria loves talking with patients and helping them achieve their dream smile. Maria and her husband have 3 beautiful daughters, 1 son and 7 grandchildren. Maria enjoys gardening and spending lots of time with her growing family.
Ana β Patient Services Coordinator
Ana joined Southland Smiles Team October 2017. She joined the office assisting the front desk team with her 17 years of dental experience. She enjoys interacting with all of our wonderful patients making sure they had a wow experience, as that is our goal at Southland Smiles. She is the mother of three daughters. Ana enjoys going on walks with her husband and watching her youngest daughter play soccer. Her favorite season is the summer when she has the opportunity to enjoy her favorite hobbies gardening her flowerbeds, herbs, vegetables, and bike riding.

Carla has been in the dental field for over ten years and with Southland Smiles since 2022 in our Call Center. You may not have had the chance to meet her face to face but you may recognize her voice as one that has helped you schedule an appointment or helped to answer your questions. Carla has an outgoing personality and is known to try and make you laugh. She loves to travel & her hobbies include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Marilyn joined the Southland Smiles Dental Assistant Team in September of 2019. Marilyn has been a dental assistant for several years. Before coming to Southland Smiles, she worked at an Endodontist office, specializing in root canals. She is now ready to master general dentistry! When she is not working, she is enjoying her time with her beautiful 1-year-son Angelo!
